TRUCKING GIANT JOINS TRUCK ASSIST RACING FOR BATHURST

The two car Truck Assist Racing team will be taking on the Repco Bathurst 1000 with extra support from team partner PACCAR Australia. The team are currently supported on a multi-year deal with PACCAR trucking brand DAF Trucks. The PACCAR Parts partnership is a real boost for the team as they prepare for the biggest race of the year.

“To have PACCAR Parts onboard with us for Bathurst is fantastic” said Team Owner Matt Stone.

With 57 dealers across Australia PACCAR Parts are well known in the trucking industry as the supplier of all genuine parts for Kenworth and DAF Trucks, and also for most other heavy-duty truck and trailer makes.

“MSR have had Kenworth’s for years, and more recently we now run two of the new DAF XF 530’s so PACCAR have always been an important part of our trucking and logistics operation.”

“Obviously in our sport reliability is everything so we need to have the very best parts on our cars and trucks. We can’t cut corners or use sub-standard parts, it’s just not worth it. Getting to each Repco Supercars event on time and safely is critical for our team. So, between DAF Trucks, PACCAR Parts and the insurance and roadside assistance of Truck Assist, I’m pretty sure MSR have that covered which gives us great peace of mind.”

Truck Assist Racing are testing today at Queensland Raceway in preparation for the 1000 with co-drivers Aaron Seton and Jayden Ojeda on hand as the team goes through all the final checks before the big race next week.
